Why Watch Menopause the Musical?
- Catch the longest-running musical in Las Vegas history, with over 6,700 performances that have captivated audiences for more than 18 years. Menopause The Musical at Harrah's Cabaret is a visceral, uproarious portrayal of the tribulations that women face during this "milestone" of life, leaving no subject unexplored.
- Audiences are entertained, enlightened, and empowered throughout this show. Set to classic songs from the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s with delightfully relatable new lyrics, this side-splitting production celebrates "the change" with wit, humor, and a whole lot of heart.
- The performance is replete with infectious melodies that will have you singing all the way home. Catch the 3-time Emmy-winning Vita Corimbi as the Earth Mother, one of the original case members of the Vegas Company. Vita says of the show, “There are four women in the show, four iconic characters, and we call the audience the fifth girlfriend”
- There’s no ‘pause with this show, as Menopause the Musical transforms hot flashes, mood fluctuations, and memory lapses into amusing moments that can be enjoyed by all. The LA Times calls it “Fresh, funny and simply terrific!"
The show follows four mature women as they browse for lingerie at a Bloomingdale's sale. Menopause the Musical was produced across the United States, touring to the present day, including in Las Vegas, where it has been running since 2006 as the longest-running scripted musical in Las Vegas history, following the success of an Off-Broadway production that ran for over 1,500 performances until 2006. The program has inspired productions across the globe.
Celebrating women through "the change" with song, comedy, and friendship, Menopause the Musical is both a humorous and touching tribute. Parodies of popular songs from the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s provide the musical its infectiously funny tunes, which transform realistic experiences like mood swings, memory lapses, and hot flashes into hilarious numbers like "Stayin' Awake" and "Puff, My God I'm Draggin'." The musical Menopause is more than just a show; it's a jubilant ode to life, love, and sisterhood. The entire show is full of humor, charisma, and positive energy, perfect for if you're in the mood to laugh and sing along!
