About Planet Hollywood

  • Bakkt Theater, the largest theatre space at Planet Hollywood, boasts impressive acoustics, unobstructed views, and a massive capacity of 7,000 seats. The theater is the epicenter of A-list entertainment in Las Vegas, with one of the largest indoor projection surfaces, a groundbreaking D&B sound system, and exclusive VIP services.
  • Dedicated to the performances of MINDFREAK, the Criss Angel Theater offers a high-energy experience and can hold up to 1,500 patrons.
  • The V Theater and Saxe Theater are two intimate spaces housed inside the Miracle Mile shops, with a seating capacity of 500 and 423 respectively.
  • Several other performance areas including a 4,400-seat Celebrity Ballroom, an open-plan Mezzanine, The Studio, and The London Club, enable the resort hotel to host a variety of action-packed events.

The premature closure of the Tallyho Hotel gave way to the Aladdin Hotel on the same site. The Arabian Nights theme attracted many celebrities and tourists since its opening in 1966, but could not sustain its good fortune for long. Aladdin Theatre for the Performing Arts was subsequently constructed to replace the golf course in 1976, integrated with five sold-out shows of Neil Diamond. While the hotel struggled to make ends meet, the center was the venue's primary revenue stream. It quickly became the crown jewel of rock and roll acts and remained a popular spot until the renovation in 2000. Several reasons, including the hotel's position and design, led to its untimely demise in 2005. Planet Hollywood Hotel took its place in 2007 and the venue became a hotbed for international entertainment. From Miss Universe Pageants and successful concert residencies to reality TV shows like America's Got Talent it has seen it all!

  • Within its 390-foot structure, the venue includes 60,835 square feet of gaming space, several performance spaces, nine on-site restaurants, and the famous Miracle Mile Shops.
  • Facade: The exterior features a modern design with bold lines and a typical Vegas-style neon sign to mark the building. It is a 39-story structure, built on staggered trusses to provide column-free spaces at the lower levels.
  • Interior: The hotel lobby and common areas are adorned with memorabilia from famous films and entertainment events, taking visitors on a journey through Hollywood history. Plush interiors, vibrant lighting, state-of-the-art facilities, and modern design contribute to the opulence of the space.
  • Notable Features: One of its most prominent features is the themed suites, each uniquely decorated to reflect iconic movies or celebrities. They can be enjoyed by visitors when the celebrities themselves are not in residence.
